Our Camps

Alaska Range full-curl trophy Dall Sheep RamAlaska back-country hunts are often physically demanding, regardless of hunter pre-conditioning. Consequently, it's imperative that the base camp can provide the essential creature comforts that so often contribute to the overall success of the hunt.

For any sport hunter not familiar with hunting in Alaska, it's also important to recognize that a successful trophy hunt must be conducted in close proximity to the game concentrations. While many of the lodge operators will emphasize the cush of their carpet, the plush of their towels, and the sweet of their after-dinner mints... the glaring reality is that none of those amenities will help you kill game. In order to be successful on the hunt, eventually the serious trophy hunter is going to have to get out in the field in an area with ample game.

September is the time for trophy Bull MooseOur base camp provides all of the essential comforts required on a big-game hunt. We provide our guests with a warm and dry bunk, filling meals that can suppress even the heartiest appetites, and always a strategic location that permits rapid deployment to spike camps that'll put you on the game. Like the nomadic caribou herds and the wide-ranging brown bear, moose, and Dall sheep that we pursue, we've come to recognize that mobility is a key factor in hunt success.

The caliber of our hunts help to distinguish us from the competition. We use only high-quality, field-proven equipment that can provide us with an extra edge for success. Transportation to the field is in our professionally maintained, private fixed-winged aircraft that's specially equipped for backcountry travel. Our mission is to help you succeed on the hunt - getting you in the field safely, keeping you comfortable in camp, and providing you with ample opportunity for bagging a trophy.

We provide answers to all of our hunters' questions about equipment and clothing. We know the habits of Alaska's big game species, the particulars of back-country wilderness,Early spring Alaska Peninsula trophy Brown Bearand we've hunted the country in all of its extremes of season and weather condition. We want you to understand what we expect from our hunters, and what you can count on us delivering on the hunt.

We've come to recognize that as big-game guides our knowledge as Alaskan hunters and our professional commitment to our guests are our greatest assets. It ensures our guests will receive a world-class hunt with a significant advantage over the less-experienced guides and hunt operators who are seemingly more interested in taking their clients out on extended camping ventures.

We know that you're serious about the hunt and we respond in kind to your desire to bring in a trophy animal. Our enthusiasm for hunting is genuine and our hospitality is infectious.
