 While
most of our guests hunt Alaska for a specific game species, some like
to capitalize on the opportunity to score on additional game.
Since seasons often run
concurrently and certain species share similar habitat, extending hunt
efforts to an additional trophy is often possible.
Alaska hunting seasons
for Dall sheep and caribou begin every year on August 10th. After September
1st, moose, grizzly and black bear are also available. Where we hunt, on the
western interior side of the Alaska Range, all of the species mentioned
inhabit this region and are available in season.
